M57 in constellation Lyra is one of those brighter objects, which are quite easy to find even without a go-to mount, since it is located right in the middle between two bright stars.

Sadly the standard processing used in this catalog hides most of the beauty in this nebula, but from the title image you can get an idea not only about its location between the stars but also some of the colors which may be revealed with a much larger focal length.

The overview was imaged separately with shorter exposure times to not blow out the bright ring, so the stars are more defined as well. Framing is still 580mm with APS-C sensor.
